  I decided to run for the District 1 City Council position because I am genuinely passionate about enhancing the quality of life in our community. I envision Greendale as a place where my own children, and others, will want to return to raise their families. With a sense of responsibility to our neighbors and profound love for our town, I believe I am the best candidate to utilize my knowledge, understanding, and relationships to support our community.

1. Parks:  Our parks are the heart of our community. Ryan believes in supporting long-term planning to ensure that they receive the funding needed to thrive as spaces that foster connections with nature and each other.

2.  Water Utility: Ensuring the continued safety of our water supply, while keeping rates reasonable and meeting our community's needs, is a critical priority.

3. Development: Ryan is committed to making Greendale a welcoming destination for new businesses while maintaining our reputation as a clean, neighborly, and safe community. This involves supporting clear codes and enforcement, as well as backing our public services such as police, fire, and EMS services along with our civil city workers.

Ryan has regularly attended Greendale City Council meetings over the past two years. 

He currently sits on the Board of Zoning appeals and is the executive director of Greendale Main Street. 

Ryan has served our community as volunteer with organizations such as Boy Scouts Troup 604, Clearinghouse, Salvation Army, SIEOC, Lawrenceburg Greendale Youth Soccer, Dearborn County Historical Society and many more!
